Connecticut Expatriate playwright Roni’s father-in-law seriously ill, Desire blessings

Staff Reporter : Abdus Salam Hawlader, 65, father-in-law of well-known Connecticut cultural figure and playwright Md Sabbir Ahmed Rony, is critically ill and is being treated at the Midstate Hospital in Meriden, Connecticut. He has been suffering from kidney related complications for a long time. Currently his condition is critical. Abdus Salam Hawladar’s family has prayed for the expatriates for his recovery.

Abdus Salam Hawladar’s house is in Narayanganj, Bangladesh. He came to the United States with his wife, El Jaseem, about 20 years ago. He has lived in New York for a long time with his three daughters Zinia Salam, Tania Salam and Monia Salam. They were both at the home of his second daughter, Tania Salam, who lived in Connecticut five years ago. When he fell ill there, his son-in-law, Md. Sabbir Ahmed Rony, a former cultural secretary of the Bangladeshi American Association of Connecticut (BAAC) and a playwright, arranged for his treatment.

Abdus Salam Hawladar is currently being treated at Meriden Midstate Hospital in Connecticut. Currently his condition is critical. Sabbir Ahmed Rony and his family have prayed for the expatriates for his recovery.
