Staff Reporter, Dhaka: Today is the 19th death anniversary of Kachuani Beoya, the mother of Chhabed Sathee, an expatriate journalist and editor of US media Bangla Press and online news portal Banglapress.com.
Kachuani Beoya breathed her last on May 29, 2002 at 8 am at her home village Singimari Dhodar Para in Parbatipur upazila of Dinajpur district. She was 78 years old at the time of her death. She left behind 4 sons, 3 daughters, grandchildren and many relatives. A milad mahfil has been organized at his village home next Friday (June 4) to mark the fourth death anniversary of the late Kachuani Bewa and her eldest son Abdul Latif.
It may be mentioned that the elder son of the late, former UP member Abdul Latif (Member) was the former president of Parbatipur Contractors Association and Bangladesh Union Members Association (BISS . He was also a successful member of the union parshad of Rampur Union (No. 3) of Parbatipur Upazila, Dinajpur for a long time. He passed away 3 years ago on June 2, 2017.
On the death anniversary of the mother and elder brother of the editor of BanglaPress.com, he and his family wished blessings to all.
