Staff Reporter : Mohammad Gulzar Khan Shawky (52), a Bangladeshi living in Georgia, died of cancer in the United States. He had been undergoing treatment for cancer for a long time. He died at the local Gwinnett Medical Center around 11:15 a.m. local time on Tuesday (June 1).
Mohammad Gulzar Khan Shawky, a resident of Dhaka, Bangladesh, lived in Georgia for a long time. He is survived by his wife and two sons.
Funeral services will be held at the Lawrenceville Mosque in the Georgia Islamic Center on Friday, June 4, following the Friday prayers. His body will be buried at Behelham Muslim Cemetery in Georgia on the same day after namaj-e- Janaza. His family has requested expatriate Bangladeshis in Georgia to take part in the namaj-e- janaza prayers.
