New England T-20 Gold Cup cricket tournament starts on Saturday
Staff Reporter : New England T-20 Gold Cup cricket tournament is starting for the first time in Manchester, Connecticut, USA. Manchester City Mayor Jay Moran will inaugurate the cricket tournament next Saturday (July 31) at the new Robertson Cricket Ground in the Town of Manchester.
Organized by the Bangladeshi American Friends and Family of Connecticut, the cricket tournament will run until September 19.
The first round, second round, third round knockout stage will be held in three groups with 9 teams after the verification and selection. The tournament will be open to all communities. A total of 9 teams including 1 from Massachusetts and 4 Bangladeshi teams from different cities of Connecticut will take part in the tournament. Champion Runners-up, Man of the Series, Man of the Match and many more prizes are available in this tournament.
The event was organized by the Bangladeshi American Friends and Family of Connecticut to give cricket fans in Connecticut and the new generation the joy of playing cricket. They have plans to hold a cricket coaching camp in the future. Leaders of the Bangladeshi community, including State Senator Saud Anwar and Manchester City Mayor J Moran, are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
