Councilman candidate Shah Shahidul Haque (Syed) said at the ‘fundraising’ event organized by PG Care that the number of hate crimes against minority groups, including Bangladeshis, was increasing day by day in the United States, including New York. There is no way to stop it. Gunfights also occur on Independence Day in the United States. No one seems to be encouraged to suppress such crimes. This is the only time to protest against these incidents and come forward to curb crime. In protest of such criminal activity in New York, the trio decided to run for District 25 councilor.
He added that the left-wing wrestling with Jackson Heights traders, the roads are dirty, fall into disarray. On the other hand, senior citizens are being deprived of most of the facilities. They are deprived of all kinds of government allowances including pension during Blindness period, un-employment during Kovid-19 period. The allowance of only 270-300 is very negligible in the current expensive market. It is not possible to accept such mismanagement. This situation needs to change soon.
