On last Friday a rally titled Muzibul Huq for US Congress was held in Elmont Chandini restaurant at NEw York.
President of the campaign committee, Prominent people from Indian, Pakistani and Bangladeshi communities attended the rally presided over by Wadud Bhuiya and moderated by Advocate Mujibur Rahman. In the Democratic primary to be held on August 23, Everyone present in the rally expressed their support for Dr. Muzib to win.
The gathering started with recitation from the Holy Quran by Imam Jafari. Advocate Mujibur Rahman gave the welcome speech. In the meeting, Asal National Committee General Secretary Karim Chowdhury emphasized on the participation of Southeast Asians in mainstream politics. Mujeeb Lodi, a prominent journalist of Pakistan Times, announced the support of their community at the rally. Urged everyone to make Muzib win.
