Noman Sabit: Two leaders of the United States Awami League got promoted. Two talented leaders have been promoted to two important positions with the aim of building a smart United States Awami League by making the party activities more dynamic. Last Monday (June 24), the president of the United States Awami League Dr. Siddiqur Rahman and General Secretary Abdus Samad Azad signed in two separate letters, Misbah Ahmed was appointed as Joint General Secretary and Md. Farid Alam was promoted to the post of Organizing Secretary. Earlier, Misbah served as Human Rights Secretary and Farid as Industry and Commerce Secretary. According to a source in the party, they have been given new appointments along with promotion on the instructions of the party chief Sheikh Hasina in order to make the activities of Awami League more dynamic.
Misbah Ahmed was the former president of United States Jubo League and human rights secretary of United States Awami League. Md. Farid Alam was the former president of Chhatra League of Sylhet Shahjalal University of Science and Technology. Former General Secretary of United States Jubo League and United States Awami League Secretary of Industry and Commerce. On Monday (June 24) at a restaurant party in New York’s Jackson Heights, the President of the United States Awami League Dr. Siddiqur Rahman and General Secretary Abdus Samad Azad congratulated them. Vice President of the party Dr. Masudul Hasan, organizing secretary Durud Mia Ronel and publicity secretary Abdul Hamid and other leaders were present at this time.
