Abu Sabet: Tanvir Kaiser, an expatriate in the United States, closed his Facebook profile after talking to former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on the phone. An audio clip of the phone conversation between former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Tanvir went viral on social media on Thursday (September 12). The audio clip of the conversation has gone viral on social media. The person’s name is Tanvir Kaiser.
On going to Tanvir’s Facebook account, it is seen that the profile is closed. In the phone conversation, he mentioned the names of several leaders of the United States Awami League. He said he will protest with those leaders. But he himself is said to have taken political asylum in the United States claiming to be ‘persecuted’ by the Awami League in Bangladesh.
Tanvir Kaiser entered the United States on June 4, 2019 via Los Angeles. His visa was a tourist visa. But shortly after entering the United States, he claimed that he was tortured by the Awami League government in Bangladesh. That’s why he wants his own security. Later, he applied for political asylum in the country on May 7, 2020. It is also known that his Bangladeshi passport expired on January 24, 2021.
Tanvir, who went viral in the leaked phone conversation, was born on December 7, 1989. His father is Solaiman Kaiser and mother Nilufar Yasmin. His wife’s name is Ruqaiya Azad.
However, it is not yet known which position Tanvir is in Awami League, and through which source she has directly communicated with Sheikh Hasina.
It is to be noted that on August 5, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left the country and fled to India after resigning in the face of the student movement. Since then, the audio of many people’s conversations with Sheikh Hasina is being leaked. Some on social media are also commenting that the issue is intentional. However, there is no concrete evidence of how these call records are being leaked. Many questions have arisen in the minds of expatriates including Awami League leaders and workers about how Tanvir’s phone conversation with former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was leaked.
