Bangla Press Desk: The recently concluded Bangladesh Investment Summit 2025 has yielded initial investment proposals worth Tk 3,100 crore, according to Chowdhury Ashik Mahmud Bin Harun, executive chairman of the Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA).
He shared the information at a press conference held today at the Foreign Service Academy in the capital’s Bailey Road area.
Several additional investment proposals are currently in the pipeline, the BIDA chairman said.
Around Tk 5 crore was spent to organise the four-day summit, of which around Tk 1.5 crore came from the government and the remaining Tk 3.5 crore from partner organisations, he said.
