Bangla Press Desk: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Ameer Shafiqur Rahman and Nayeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Mohammad Taher have called on BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in London.
They have visited the former prime minister recently at the residence of her son Tarique Rahman, also the BNP acting chairman, BNP chairperson’s former press secretary and journalist Maruf Kamal Khan wrote on his Facebook account on Tuesday night.
On 8 January, the BNP chief was taken to London for advanced treatment and she is now undergoing treatment staying at her son’s house there.
In his post, Maruf said the top Jamaat leaders met with the BNP chairperson after reaching London concluding their Europe tour, and returned to Bangladesh later.
