Bangla Press Desk: Gold prices in Bangladesh have reached a new record, with 22-carat gold rising by Tk5,342 to Tk1,77,887 per bhori (11.664 grams), the highest ever in the country.
The Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring of the Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) made the decision at a meeting on Tuesday, citing the price hike of pure gold in the local market.
