Staff Reporter: Bangladeshi-origin student Saif Mohammad has earned a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Connecticut (UConn) in the United States. According to family sources, Saif completed the two-year program in just one year, marking an exceptional academic achievement.
On Monday, May 12, at 9 a.m. local time, a grand commencement ceremony was held at the university’s main campus, where Saif’s academic milestone was formally recognized.
Previously, on May 4, 2024, Saif had graduated with a Bachelor’s Associate Degree in Finance from the same university, receiving prestigious Gold and Silver Medal scholarships for academic excellence.
Saif has long resided in Stamford, Connecticut, with his father Mohammad Saidul Haque (Said) and mother Johura Begum Rahim. His father expressed hope that Saif’s remarkable accomplishment would be a source of pride for the entire Bakhtiar community. Both parents believe that their son will continue to set shining examples in his professional life as well.
