Staff Reporter: Zayn Siddique’s father, Doctor Mostaq Ahmed Siddique, who was appointed to the administration of President-elect Joe Bden, hopes that he will devote himself to the welfare of the people and become a good man with humane qualities.

Dr. Mostaq Ahmed said, “After coming to America, we both studied and completed our doctorate.” At first we were in Astoria. That’s why Zayn started his education from Astoria PS-70. He also completed high school in Astoria. Zayn then attended Hunter College, Princeton University, and Yale Law School in Connecticut.
Zayn also completed a one-year course in Jordan on a Fulbright Scholarship. In 2010, Zayn became the champion of the Lincoln-Douglas debate in the whole of America. Mostaq Ahmed Siddique said this in response to a question about Zayn. He said, “We expect Zayn Siddique to dedicate himself to the welfare of the people and become a beautiful man with human qualities.
“Every human being has a purpose in life,” he said. As our goal was to come to America, we were able to come. Many are not able to come even after trying. But success in any endeavor requires hard work, honesty, and effort. Zayn has fulfilled our expectations as a boy, made us proud. He had to work hard for it. Talent, ability and hard work can lead a person to his desired goal. Zayn has come to this stage today with her talent and qualifications. For this we are thankful to Allah. In response to another question, he said, “We are happy to see Zayn’s news in many newspapers in the country and abroad.” We are grateful to all the media. He wished blessings to all for his only child Zayn. Zayn Siddique’s parents now live in Westchester County, New York. Mostaq Ahmed Siddique is working at Columbia University Hospital and Dr. Kamrun Abedin works at the Office of Mental Health in New York. Dr. Mostaq Siddique is the President of the Sylhet Medical College Association and the former Treasurer of the Bangladesh Medical College Association of North America. His home in Nandail, Mymensingh and his wife Dr. Kamrun’s country home is in Sonagazi, Feni.
Note United States President-elect Joe Biden has named Bangladeshi-American Zayn Siddique to a key position in the office of the White House deputy chief of staff. According to a series of new announcements made by the Biden Transition Team on Jan 10,202, Siddique has been named senior advisor to the White House deputy chief of staff. He becomes the first Bangladeshi-American to be named to a senior position in the incoming Biden administration.
Originally from Bangladesh but raised in New York, Siddique is a graduate of the Princeton University and the Yale Law School. Currently, he is the chief of staff for the Domestic and Economic Team of the Biden-Harris Transition. He was also a member of Vice President-elect Harris’s prep team for the 2020 vice-presidential debate.
Previously, Siddique was the deputy policy director for Beto O’Rourke’s presidential campaign and a senior policy adviser to his senate campaign. He has also served as a law clerk to Justice Elena Kagan of the US Supreme Court, Judge David Tatel of the US Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit, and Judge Dean Pregerson of the US District Court for the Central District of California.
In between his clerkships, Siddique practised law as an associate at Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe LLP. President-elect Biden has said that he will have one of the most diverse administrations in American history.
