Staff Reporter: During the collaboration of New York City Health Hospital, Bangladesh Consulate General, New York and Bangladesh Society, the four-day long vaccination program ended. The program started on April 8 and ended on April 11. In this program, ‘Johnson and Johnson”s single dose vaccine is previously issued on the basis before the vaccine. In this program, the members of 528 Bangladeshi-American communities were vaccinated.
The voluntary immunization program has been widely acclaimed to everyone in the community and the community encouraging response was found. Bangladesh’s Consul General Sadia Faizunnesa in New York, thanked all concerned of New York City Health Hospital and Community in the program. The Consul General grateful and thanked the Bangladesh Society to make important contributions to this special service given for the community.
The Consul General also thanked all the prints and electronic media journalists in New York for informing the community of the immunization program.
The consulate general will try to continue this type of service according to the needs of the community in the future.
