Speaking on the occasion organized under the banner of expatriate civil society, the speakers said that even if Abhijit is killed, his philosophy cannot be killed. They further said, “The defeated forces are carrying out these killings to destroy the achievements of the liberation war, to kill the non-communal consciousness, to eradicate the idea of free will.”
They called upon the government to crack down on these evil forces so that no more free thinkers would die and also to build a proper social system to promote non-communalism in various sectors besides education.
