Noman Sabit : 27 film artists including singers from the country and abroad have received the New York Dhallywood Awards this year. Alamgir Khan Alam, owner of Showtime Music in New York, announced the names of 27 film artists including singers one by one at the Dhallywood Awards ceremony held at the auditorium of Amazura, Jamaica, Queens, on Sunday night (October 16) local time.
Apart from Bangladeshi artists and film crews, American model and Bollywood actress Nargis Fakhri received the International Icon Award. Several patrons of Pravas have also received Dhallywood Awards in New York.

Best Film Actress (Popular) Puja Cheri, Best Actor Comedy Ziaul Haque Palash, Best Theater Director Mustafa Kamal Raj, International Icon Award to American Model and Bollywood Actress Nargis Fakhri, Special Award to Faria Shahreen, Folk Singer Kala Mia, Best TV News presenter Rumana Afroz, best expatriate singer Shah Mahbub, Rano Newaz, Ryan Taj, Neelima Shashi, Maryam Maria, Eamon and expatriate best presenter Babu Zaman received special awards. The New York Dhallywood Awards have also received several patrons from the United States.
