Staff Reporter: To get rid of the leadership crisis of the fifty-two-year-old and traditional Bangladesh Association of New England (BANE) in Boston, Massachusetts, USA, speak out against the well-known conspirator and resist them. For this reason, the ex-president of Bane, Mohammad Bellal, called upon all expatriates of Boston to work together. He proposed to the Khoka-Saju-Rajib Parishad elected by the people’s verdict on November 10 and 11 to manage Bane according to the constitution of the organization.

While talking to the American media Bangla Press, Bellal said, without wasting time by holding frequent meetings and press conferences, take preparations to fulfill Bane’s annual listed programs and inform the expatriates about the future plans accordingly. As 75 percent of the expatriates have given the right verdict to Khoka-Saju-Rajib Parishad, keep their words in mind and deliver on the promise.
He said, ‘If you walk forward with the calf, the cow will run behind’. No one else in Bane’s history has won so many votes, so the failure to run the organization or the missed opportunity will be regretted later. Make the most of the time you have.

I have lived in Boston for a long time. I was once elected president of Bane. I have never seen 15/20 representatives for one panel and only 4/5 representatives of other panel inside the polling station. Not only that, Bane’s current and outgoing committee president Parvin Babu’s two brothers, sister-in-law’s election officer, Commissioner Jalil’s cousin, another candidate Tanvir Murad’s friend Salauddin Khan Saikat Awamili Jubo League Mastan. Murad’s father stayed inside the polling station for two days and sought votes from the voters along with Parvin Babu. None of the Khoka-Saju-Rajib Parishads could protest strongly against them and throw them out of the Center. In the name of the vote, what did we see in Boston?
The former president of Bane Bellal said to the Khoka-Saju-Rajib Parishad, if you cannot take over the leadership of Bane this time, how will you answer those expatriates who believe that they voted for you? So start working for expats now. Stand up for new immigrants and the needy. Provide them with employment. Provide medical care or health insurance for uninsured immigrants. Do good work for society. Poor people don’t have to look for you, people will find you.

Mohammad Bellal said, stop all the anti-cultural activities that have been carried out in the name of culture for the last 4/5 years and arrange healthy, normal and quality programs and see how the people of Boston respond to you. Promote expatriate artists at low cost without spending money on Dhaka artists. Save money and help the flood and cold victims of the country. Spread the name of Boston’s fifty-two years old and traditional Bangladesh Association of New England (BANE) abroad. People will not accept you one day if you want to do something just for rank and title. So think carefully.

Former president Mohammad Bellal said, the learned judge of the Lawrence Superior Court of Massachusetts, Janice W. Howe only asked for the counting of votes held on November 10 and 11, but the alleged election commissioners also forcibly counted early votes. Even the primary school students understand what happened here, but we who are more educated are slow to understand. Bellal said that since a new case is pending in the court, it is not appropriate for anyone to comment on it.
He noted that Boston’s expatriates are all highly educated. There is no opportunity to do any wrongdoing by avoiding someone’s eyes. Some unscrupulous people using Bane’s name have extorted money from dead people in the past and pocketed themselves. We just looked. 20 other former presidents and general secretaries of bane’s like me could not do anything against extortionists. Shame on all of us. All the people of the world saw the news of those extortionists and philanderers in Boston through newspaper reports. People call from the country and ask what is happening in Boston? To save the honor of expatriates, we cannot give correct answers to these issues. Because I/you live in this city. Our children are growing up. He hangs his head in shame. So it’s not too late. Make the right decision today.
