10 killed in clash at Mexican prison

Bangla Press Desk: Ten people were killed and at least 16 others injured in a clash inside a prison in a northwestern Mexican state.
On Friday, a report by the Turkish state-run news agency Anadolu Agency, citing the Sinaloa state Department of Public Security, stated that nine of the deceased were inmates and one was a minor visitor.
The minor had come to the prison to visit a family member. The 16 injured inmates have been sent to the hospital for treatment.
Authorities reported that security forces entered the prison and brought the situation under control immediately after receiving news of the clash.
Social services personnel are coordinating with the families of the deceased regarding contact and the handover of the bodies. As a precautionary measure, prison visitations have been temporarily suspended.
