100 weeks at the top of the Billboard charts: Swift makes history.

Bangla Press Desk: Pop star Taylor Swift has achieved the milestone of spending a total of 100 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 chart as a solo artist. Her album *The Life of a Showgirl* has held the number-one spot for a second consecutive week.
The singer achieved this success following the release of the album's expanded edition, *The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore*.
With this, Swift has further solidified her record among solo artists; this achievement may prove to be a difficult challenge for other artists to match.
Four new songs have been added to *The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore* edition.
According to Billboard's chart calculations, the original album and the expanded edition are counted together. Consequently, the total time Swift has spent at the top with *The Life of a Showgirl* stands at 14 weeks.
Billboard data indicates that Elvis Presley follows Taylor among solo artists, with his albums having spent a total of 67 weeks at the top of the chart.
Among living artists, Garth Brooks holds the second position with 52 weeks at the top. However, when considering all artists, the all-time record belongs to The Beatles; the band's albums collectively spent 132 weeks at the top of the chart.
Meanwhile, The Beatles' album *Rubber Soul* has returned to the Billboard 200 top ten after a long hiatus. It sits in fourth place with 58,000 equivalent album units.
Thanks to the release of a reissue and a remastered version, the album has secured a spot in the top ten for the first time since April 1966.
Drake's *Habibti* holds the second spot on the chart, with sales of 71,000 units. Driven by the addition of four new songs, it climbed from the 116th position to second place. Elsewhere, Olivia Rodrigo's *You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love* ranks third with 66,000 units. Morgan Wallen’s ‘I’m the Problem’ holds the fifth spot on the list, followed by Ella Langley’s ‘Dandelion’ in sixth, Noah Kahan’s ‘The Great Divide’ in seventh, Olivia Dean’s ‘The Art of Loving’ in eighth, and Noah Kahan’s ‘Stick Season’ in ninth. Additionally, Mac Miller’s ‘The Divine Feminine’ has risen to the tenth position; three new songs have been added to the special edition released to mark the album's tenth anniversary.
