33 police officers promoted to DIG

Bangla Press Desk: The government has promoted 33 police officers to the rank of deputy inspector general (DIG), according to two separate notifications issued Wednesday.

Md Mahabubur Rahman, deputy secretary of Police-1 wing at the Public Security Division, signed the notifications.

The orders would come into effect as soon as the officers join their new offices, the notifications read.
