Bangla Press desk : A case has been lodged against 475 people over vandalism, arson, and attack on police personnel in Gopalganj Sadar upazila, centring the NCP rally on Wednesday.
Inspector Ali Ahmed filed the lawsuit with Sadar Police Station under the Anti-Terrorism Act against 75 people, citing their names and 400 unnamed others, Officer-in-Charge Mir Sajedur Rahman told the media on Friday.
He said more than 50 people have been arrested so far, and a number of police teams are working in this regard.
On Wednesday, four people were killed and dozens injured in a series of clashes between Awami League-Chhatra League activists and law enforcers over the NCP’s scheduled rally.
