5 BUP MPs, including Osman Faruk and Reza Kibria, become Senate members

Bangla Press Desk:   Five members of the 13th National Parliament have been nominated as Senate members of Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).The nomination was made through the Speaker of the National Parliament. The Bangladesh National Parliament Secretariat has confirmed the matter. This information was recently given in a letter signed by Senior Assistant Secretary of the Secretariat, Nibir Ranjan Talukder.

The letter issued by Human Resources Branch-1 mentioned that they have been nominated as per Section 21(2)(b) of the Bangladesh University of Professionals Act, 2009.They are - Member of Parliament from Kishoreganj-3 (Karimganj-Tarail) constituency and former Education Minister Dr. Muhammad Osman Faruk, Reza Kibria from Habiganj-1 constituency, Mushfiqur Rahman from Brahmanbaria-4 constituency, Md. Selim Bhuiyan from Comilla-2 constituency and Md. Tahsina Rushdir from Sylhet-2 constituency.
