96 police officers transferred for field training
Bangla Press Desk: A total of 96 trainee Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) have been transferred to various police units and districts across the country for six months of practical field training.
Prior to this posting, the officers completed a one-year basic training course at the Bangladesh Police Academy in Sardah, Rajshahi.
The transfer order was issued through a notification signed on Tuesday (13 January) by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Baharul Alam.
According to the notification, the training programme is being implemented in line with Regulation 790 of PRB Volume-1, with the necessary consent of the Election Commission Secretariat and the Ministry of Home Affairs.
The trainee ASPs attached for practical training will be entitled to draw their salaries and allowances from their respective posting units.
The order has come into effect immediately, the notification said.
