Bangla Press Desk: The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to file case against Saima Wazed Putul, daughter of ousted Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, on evidence of embezzlement of around Tk450 crore by opening Suchona Foundation in the name of helping the disabled.
At the same time, the commission has found the evidence of suspicious transactions of over Tk930 crore through 14 bank accounts.
ACC's Director General (Prevention) Md Akhtar Hossain confirmed it on Monday while talking at a press briefing held at ACC head office in the capital.
The Director General said that ACC has found the involvement of 35 people, including former ministers-MPs, NBR chairman and other officials, and country's top businessmen.
