Akhomo Hasan receives Bioscope Star Award

Bangla Press Desk:   Popular actor Akhomo Hasan has been honoured as the Best Actor at the 13th Bioscope Star Award 2025. The award ceremony took place on Tuesday evening at the Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the Bangladesh National Museum in the capital’s Shahbagh area.

Former information secretary Syed Margub Morshed, noted artiste Dilara Zaman, and playwright Rajib Moni Das, among others, presented the award to Akhomo Hasan.

Expressing his feelings after receiving the honour, Akhomo Hasan said, “In general, everyone is human, but a person’s true identity blossoms through their work. It is truly a matter of luck to receive recognition for that work. I sincerely thank the organising committee and everyone present for this honour.”

Actor and director Shamim Zaman, dramatist Sakal Ahmed, Bioscope Cultural Foundation Adviser Md Mosharraf Hossain, General Secretary Shafiq Uddin Apu, and many other prominent figures from the cultural and social spheres also attended the event.
