AL responsible for BDR Mutiny as a party, Taposh acted as ‘chief coordinator’: Commission

Bangla Press Desk:  The National Independent Investigation Commission formed to probe the 2009 BDR mutiny and subsequent killings submitted its final report to Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Sunday at the state guesthouse Jamuna.

The report was handed over by the commission’s Head Major General (Retd) ALM Fazlur Rahman, along with other members—Major General Md Jahangir Kabir Talukder (Retd), Brigadier General Md Saidur Rahman Bir Protik (Retd), former joint secretary Munshi Alauddin Al Azad, former DIG M Akbar Ali, Dhaka University Associate Professor of Political Science Md Shariful Islam, and Jagannath University Assistant Professor of Education and Research Md Shahnewaz Khan Chandan.
