Anupam Roy's concert in Dhaka postponed again

Bangla Press Desk: Although all preparations have been completed, the concert of Kolkata artist Anupam Roy in Dhaka has been postponed again. The organizing organization announced the cancellation of the event on Wednesday (July 29) citing 'unavoidable reasons' on the instructions of the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. The organizers said in a statement that the 'One True Sound with Anupam Roy' concert was scheduled to be held at the United Convention Center on August 1. Although all the necessary administrative approvals for the event were completed, the decision to cancel the event was announced at the last minute on the instructions of the ministry. Stating that the sudden decision has caused disappointment among ticket holders, music lovers, artists, sponsors and concerned parties, the organizers said that they are accepting the decision to postpone the concert, respecting the decision of the state and the instructions of the relevant authorities.
The announcement mentioned that the concert has caused a major financial loss. It was informed that all ticket holders will be refunded the full price of their purchased tickets through the official ticketing platform.
The concert was previously scheduled to take place on June 26 of this year, but was temporarily postponed.
