Apurba Set to Hold His First-Ever Live Music Concert

Bangla Press Desk:  Popular Bangladeshi television actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba, widely admired for his romantic roles on the small screen, is preparing to surprise fans with a new artistic identity. For the first time, the actor will take the stage as a singer, marking a significant milestone in his career.

Titled “Apurba Live Musical Night,” the concert will be held on 8 August at the Jamaica Performing Arts Centre in New York. The two-hour musical event is scheduled to begin at 8:00pm, where Apurba will perform a selection of songs in his own voice.

The announcement has generated an overwhelming response from fans, leaving the actor deeply moved. Expressing his gratitude on social media, Apurba wrote, “To be honest, I never imagined I would receive such an incredible response within just 24 hours of the announcement. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all the love. Because of you, this journey has become even more special.”

Described on the official poster as “One Night to Remember,” the event has already created excitement among the Bengali-speaking community in the United States. Tickets are priced at $100 and $300, and the organisers have announced that seating is limited.

Long before becoming one of Bangladesh’s most celebrated television actors, Apurba dreamed of becoming an engineer. He studied computer science and regularly practised singing during his student years. Although he once considered pursuing music professionally, fate led him into acting, where he has remained a household name for more than two decades.
