Army Chief Travels to Türkiye on Official Engagement

Bangla Press Desk:  Bangladesh Army Chief General Waker-Uz-Zaman left Dhaka on Sunday for a five-day official visit to Türkiye at the invitation of the Turkish government.

According to an Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) press release, during the visit General Waker will visit several Turkish defence industry establishments and discuss ways to expand defence cooperation between Bangladesh and Türkiye.

He will also hold courtesy meetings and exchange views with senior officials of the Turkish Armed Forces and other key defence authorities to strengthen bilateral defence relations between the two countries.

The visit aims to further enhance military cooperation and deepen defence ties between Bangladesh and Türkiye, the ISPR said.
