Army Issues Circular on High-Level Reshuffle

Bangla Press Desk:   The Bangladesh Army has undergone a reshuffle in its key posts.

A circular was issued in this regard on Sunday, according to sources at the Ministry of Defence.General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the Army Training and Doctrine Command (ARTDOC) Lt Gen Muhammad Mainur Rahman has been appointed as the chief of general staff. 

Brig Gen Kaiser Rashid Chowdhury at the Army Headquarters has been appointed as the director general (DG) of the Directorate General of Forces Intelligence (DGFI). 

Former GOC of the 24th Infantry Division Maj Gen Mir Mushfiqur Rahman has been appointed as the principal staff officer (PSO) of the Armed Forces Division, while the incumbent PSO, Lt Gen SM Kamrul Hassan, has been transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a diplomat.Source: daily Sun
