Audience ko zaroor pasand aayegi ‘Andhar’: Rehan

Bangla Press Desk: After making a promising start on the small screen, emerging actor Farrukh Ahmed Rehan is now ready to step into the world of cinema with his debut film “Andhar”, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Raihan Rafi. 
Although Rehan began his acting career few years ago, he has already drawn attention for his performances in several well-crafted television dramas. During the last Eid, he earned praise from audience for his compelling role in the YouTube film Abhijaan, directed by Muhammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, further establishing himself as one of the industry’s promising young talents.
In “Andhar”, Rehan will share the screen with some of Bangladesh’s most celebrated performers, including Afsana Mimi, Chanchal Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed and Gazi Rakayet. The opportunity to work alongside such accomplished artistes marks a significant milestone in his career.
Expressing his excitement, Rehan said that although shooting is still underway, he had initially planned to announce the project only after all production work was finalised. However, news of his involvement spread due to growing public interest in his career.
“Andhar is my first film, and I’m truly excited to be part of it,” Rehan said. “I can’t reveal anything about the story or my character at this stage. But I can assure the audience that Raihan Rafi bhai has created something special. Working with so many talented artistes has been an incredible learning experience for me, as I’m still new to acting.”
Story writer Shakib Chowdhury said the team was looking for a fresh face to portray the character of Himel, and Rehan emerged as the ideal choice after an extensive search.
“We wanted someone who could bring freshness to the role. Raihan Rafi searched extensively before selecting Rehan. I believe that many will look for him after the release of Andhar.”
Scheduled for release by the end of this year, “Andhar” is expected to mark an important turning point in Rehan’s career. His admirers are optimistic that his screen presence, dedication and acting ability will help him establish a strong foothold in the country’s film industry. Source: daily sun
