Bangla Press Desk: BNP Standing Committee Member Abdul Moyeen Khan on Saturday said the Awami League's tyrannical rule has completely hollowed out the country's economy over the past 15 years.
"Recently, a highly renowned, world-famous newspaper in the UK published a report stating that $234 billion had been laundered from Bangladesh in the last 15 years. This is not a small amount. The money could have been used to build 100 Padma Bridges," he said.
Moyeen Khan made the remarks while addressing a discussion as the chief guest at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Hall of the National Press Club.
The Nationalist Bank-Insurance Professionals' Council organised the event.
