Bangla-Sino cultural bond to create new dynamism in relation: Farooki
  Bangla Press Desk: Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki on Wednesday said that the cultural bond between Bangladesh and China will create new dynamism in the bilateral relation between the two countries. He said this while addressing a press conference organized on the occasion of drone training at China Embassy here. Referring to recent drone show with the support of China the adviser said, “Drone is a new medium for telling stories and it’s a fusion of technology and art and became as one of the important medium to create a narrative.” Recently arranged six drone shows with the help of China have been immensely popularized among the young generation, he said.
The adviser informed that a 15-member delegation will go to China soon to take training on preserving artworks and they will impart training to others after returning from China. Another team will go to China soon to take a month long training in Shanghai and Guangzhou on development of the museums with the financial assistance of Chinese government, Farooki added. He also expressed hope that a new door would be opened between the cultural affairs ministry and Chinese government for preserving cultural heritage and expansion of traditional and new media.
