Batting first, the touring side posted a healthy 181/5 on the board. The innings was anchored by Afif Hossain, who scored 43 off 33 balls, including three fours and a six. Opener Naim Sheikh provided early momentum with a quick-fire 36 from 29 balls (1 four, 2 sixes) before retiring.
After Afif’s retirement, skipper Nurul Hasan Sohan (13*), Yasir Chowdhury (30*), and Mrittunjay Chowdhury (18*) kept the scoreboard ticking.
In reply, the local side started briskly but could not keep up with the required run rate, finishing on 144/5 in their allotted 20 overs. Yaseen Muntasir top-scored with 26 off 12 balls, while Jagadeswara Koduru added 25 from 16 deliveries.
