Bangladeshi photojournalist injured by miscreant attack in New York

Staff Reporter: A Bangladeshi was injured in the attack of miscreants again in New York of the United States. The incident took place in Jamaica, New York on Friday afternoon (May 17) local time. The name of the injured person is Khorshed Alam Rinku. He does photojournalism in between part-time jobs. Khorshed Alam Rinku has been admitted to a local hospital in critical condition. On Friday afternoon he drove to Jamaica on personal business. Several miscreants came there and tried to rob his car. When he was stopped, the miscreants hit him on the head and drove away. On receiving the information, the police came and recovered the car but could not arrest anyone. Rinku is currently undergoing treatment at the hospital. BP/SM
