Bangla Press Desk: A Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) official said on Sunday that the board will reevaluate the performance of its contractual employees before deciding whether to extend their contracts.
As a result, nearly sixty BCB employees have not received their payments, despite their contracts being cleared through June 2025. The accounts department has withheld disbursement pending further review.
“We have cleared the payments for our contractual service providers through June, and now we will reassess their performance,” a BCB official told Daily Sun on condition of anonymity.
“There are some employees we believe are not performing up to the standard required to remain with the board. A decision regarding their future will be made after the return of our BCB president, who is currently on vacation,” he added.
