BNP leader Shimul Biswas injured in Pabna road accident

Bangla Press Desk:  BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia's special assistant and Jatiyatabadi Sramik Dal chief coordinator Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas was seriously injured in a road accident in Pabna on Tuesday.

Shimul, also the BNP candidate for the Pabna-5 constituency, sustained injuries to his hands and legs.

His assistant and former CSF member of Khaleda Zia, Enamul Haque, along with Bera upazila BNP leader Rois Biswas and the driver of the vehicle were also injured in the incident.

The accident occurred on the Pabna Ekdanta Road while they were returning from a BNP youth gathering in Sujanagar upazila, when their vehicle reportedly collided with a truck.

Locals rescued them and admitted them to the Pabna 250-bed General Hospital.
