Bangla Press Desk: BNP has urged Chief Adviser Prof Mohammad Yunus to remove all ambiguities on the way to hold the 13th parliamentary election before February next year.
The government has announced that the next general election will be held a week before Ramadan to be observed in February next year, but did not mention any date, said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Wednesday.
“Now we expect that the chief adviser would come up with a formal announcement, eliminating all ambiguities over the national election,” he said while talking to reporters after a meeting held at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s Gulshan office in Dhaka.
