"Bring your admit card after passing the written test; I’ll make the necessary calls."

Bangla Press Desk: Advocate Fazlur Rahman, Member of Parliament for the Kishoreganj-4 constituency, stated, "There are many young men who pass the written examination but fail to qualify for the viva-voce and do not secure the job. Bring your admit card to me as soon as you pass the written test. I will make the necessary calls to ensure the young man gets the job." He made these remarks while addressing a public meeting as the chief guest at the Amirganj-Janataganj market in Mriga Union, Itna Upazila, on Monday afternoon (September 21). A video of his speech has since gone viral on social media.
Urging people not to engage in financial transactions while seeking help to secure jobs, Fazlur Rahman stated that he would not tolerate any instance where money is demanded or paid to him—or anyone else—in connection with job advocacy. He also warned the public against paying anyone who promises to secure a job for them.
Fazlur Rahman also spoke about providing medical assistance to the poor during the meeting. He said that if a child, spouse, or any other member of a poor family is unable to receive medical treatment due to a lack of funds, the matter should be reported to him. He assured that, if necessary, arrangements would be made to take the patient to a hospital in Dhaka or Kishoreganj and ensure treatment at a low cost.
Calling upon local public representatives to stand by the underprivileged, he emphasized that they must keep track of families to ensure no child goes to sleep hungry. Fazlur Rahman stated that if others are unable to provide assistance, he would step in to help personally.
Among others present at the meeting were Advocate Umme Kulsum Rekha (Supreme Court lawyer and former Vice-President of Kishoreganj District BNP), S.M. Kamal Hossain (President of Itna Upazila BNP), Siddiquzzaman Thakur Swapan (General Secretary), Monir Uddin (Senior Vice-President and Chairman), as well as other leaders from the BNP and its affiliated organizations.
