Chief adviser sends condolence message to Tarique on Khaleda Zia’s death
Bangla Press Desk: On behalf of the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Chief Adviser Muhammad Yunus has sent a condolence message expressing deep sorrow over the death of former prime minister, BNP chairperson, and veteran political leader Begum Khaleda Zia.
The condolence message was formally delivered to BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman at the party’s Gulshan Chairperson’s Office at around 3:00pm on Monday.
The message was handed over by the Chief Adviser’s Personal Secretary-2, Sajib M Khairul Islam, and Assistant Press Secretary Nayem Ali.
Begum Khaleda Zia, widely known as a key figure in Bangladesh’s democratic movement and often referred to as the “Mother of Democracy,” passed away recently, drawing widespread condolences from across the political spectrum.
