Cocktail blasted in front of ADB building

Bangla Press Desk:   A crude bomb (cocktail) was detonated in front of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) office in Dhaka’s Agargaon on Saturday night.

The explosion occurred around 8:20pm, according to police.

Sher-e-Bangla Nagar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Imaul Haque said no casualties were reported during the explosion in front of the ADB building.

However, the incident has raised serious concerns about security in the area.

Police have launched an operation to identify those behind the blast, the OC added.
