Committee to probe corruption allegations against BSS MD

Bangla Press Desk:  The information ministry has formed a four-member committee to probe corruption allegations against Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS) Managing Director and Chief Editor Mahbub Morshed.

The committee has been asked to submit its report, accompanied by recommendations, by 25 February, said a statement released by the Press Information Department (PID).An additional secretary of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting would lead the probe committee, while a senior assistant secretary of the ministry would serve as the member secretary.

The committee also includes: PID Principal Information Officer Md Nizamul Kabir, and Mass Communication Department Director General Md Abdul Jalil.Source: daily Sun
