Czech envoy highlights potentials for enhancing defence ties with Bangladesh: Army
Bangla Press Desk: Dr Eliska Zigova, non-resident ambassador of Czech Republic to Bangladesh, on Wednesday highlighted prospects for enhanced cooperation in the defence sector between her country and Bangladesh.
She made the call during a courtesy meeting with Chief of Army Staff General Waker-uz-Zaman at the Army Headquarters in Dhaka Cantonment, the Bangladesh Army said in a statement published on its official facebook page
The Czech envoy particularly shed light on government-to-government military technology transfer (tot), joint venture initiatives, and other potential defence industrial partnerships.
During the meeting, both sides expressed satisfaction over the existing friendly bilateral relations between Bangladesh and Czech Republic, the statement added.
