Daytime temperature in Dhaka may drop, sky to remain partly cloudy
Bangla Press Desk: The daytime temperature in the capital Dhaka and its surrounding areas may decrease slightly, while the sky is expected to remain partly cloudy.
This information was disclosed in the weather forecast for Dhaka and adjacent areas issued by the Storm Warning Centre of the Bangladesh Meteorological Department on Sunday, covering the six-hour period from 7am.
According to the forecast, the weather is likely to remain dry during this time. Winds may blow from the northwest or north at a speed of 5 to 10 kilometers per hour.
As per the forecast, Dhaka’s temperature was recorded at 15.3 degrees Celsius at 6am today, while the relative humidity stood at 79 percent at the same time. Yesterday’s maximum temperature was 24.5 degrees Celsius, and today’s minimum temperature was recorded at 15.1 degrees Celsius.
According to the Meteorological Department, no rainfall was recorded in Dhaka over the past 24 hours. Sunset today will occur at 5:30pm, and tomorrow’s sunrise is expected at 6:44am.
