Bangla Press Desk: BNP Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed has said that democratic practices in Bangladesh will remain the same unless the country’s political culture is reformed.
He made the remarks on Saturday at a roundtable discussion titled “The Future of Democratic Bangladesh: People’s Thoughts and Expectations” held at a hotel in the capital’s Gulshan.
Leaders from different political parties were present at the event.
Emphasising the need for change, Salahuddin said, “I stress that if we do not reform our political culture, future democratic practice will remain as it is — which is not what we aspire to.”
