Distribution of DUCSU nomination papers begins
  Bangla Press Desk:  The distribution of nomination papers for the elections to Dhaka University Central Students’ Union (DUCSU) and hall unions began on Tuesday amid a festive mood. University officials said candidates will be able to collect nomination papers till 18 August from 10:00am to 4:00pm as the deadline for submitting nomination papers has been set till 3:00pm of 19 August. They said candidates may collect and submit nomination papers in person from the office of the Chief Returning Officer, located on the third floor of the university’s Senate Building. At the same time, for the hall union elections, candidates must collect and submit nomination papers in person from the respective hall returning officers.
According to the Code of Conduct of the DUCSU and Hall Union-2025, processions or rallies are restricted during the collection or submission of nomination papers, and more than five supporters will not be allowed to accompany a candidate while collecting or submitting nomination papers.
