Elections to RUCSU, CUCSU will hold properly: Home adviser
  Bangla Press Desk:  Home Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Md Jahangir Alam Chowdhury on Thursday (18 Sept) said the RUCSU and CUCSU elections will be held in proper manner. "Elections to RUCSU and CUCSU will go peacefully," he said. He was speaking to the journalists after coming out from a meeting about the overall preparations and security arrangements ahead of the RUCSU and CUCSU elections. Elections to the Rajshahi University Central Students' Union (RUCSU) and hall unions and the Chittagong University Central Students' Union (CUCSU) and hall unions will be held on 25 September and 12 October.
During the meeting, the Dhaka University and Jahangirnagar Univeraity exchanged their experience about holding the DUCSU and JUCSU elections with the Rajshahi University and Chittagong University authorities. The home adviser hoped that the elections will be held fairly like the DUCSU and JUCSU elections. He said the mechanism of holding the elections fairly can be adopted in the upcoming national elections.  This article was originally published on Daily Sun.
