Bangla Press Desk: Former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al-Mamun, who turned state witness in a case filed over crimes against humanity committed during the July Uprising, is set to testify today (2 September) against former prime minister Sheikh Hasina and former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal.
The prosecution said International Crimes Tribunal-1, led by Justice Md Golam Mortuza Mojumder, will record Mamun's deposition.
Earlier, on 10 July, Mamun voluntarily expressed his willingness to become a state witness in the case against Sheikh Hasina and admitted his own involvement.
