Fire breaks out at Mirpur high-rise

Bangla Press Desk: A fire broke out in a multi-storey building around Mirpur-11 area of the capital late Tuesday night (10 February).

Two units of the Fire Service and Civil Defence have been deployed to bring the blaze under control.

According to the Fire Service, they received the report of the fire at 11:12pm on Tuesday, Duty Officer at the Fire Service Control Room Shahjahan Islam confirmed.

He said that upon receiving the report of a fire at a multi-storey building around Mirpur-11, two Fire Service units were immediately dispatched to the scene to control the fire.

The cause of the fire and casualties could not be confirmed immediately, the Fire Service official added.Source: daily Sun
