Five districts get new DCs
Bangla Press Desk: The government has appointed new deputy commissioners (DCs) in five districts—Gazipur, Chapainawabganj, Panchagarh, Kushtia and Netrokona.
The information was disclosed in a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Sunday. The order was signed by Deputy Secretary Aminul Islam.According to the notification, Md Nurul Karim Bhuiyan, deputy secretary of the Local Government Division, has been appointed as the DC of Gazipur. Abu Saleh Md Musa Jangi, director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (currently under transfer order from the Secondary and Higher Education Division), has been appointed DC of Chapainawabganj.
Mosammat Shukria Parveen, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, has been made DC of Panchagarh.Additionally, Md Touhid Bin Hasan, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration, has been appointed DC of Kushtia, while Md Mushfiqur Rahman, deputy secretary of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, has been appointed DC of Netrokona.
The notification stated that the appointments, issued in the public interest, will take effect immediately.
